Terms
Terms of Service.
Plain terms for a plain service: you use FedJobAlert to find federal jobs, you can cancel your subscription whenever you like, and we take no responsibility for what the government posts.
Last updated August 16, 2026
The service
FedJobAlert matches public USAJobs.gov postings to a profile you define and surfaces them in your dashboard before their application deadlines. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. government or the Office of Personnel Management.
All applications happen directly on USAJobs.gov. FedJobAlert has no role in the application or hiring process.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity on your account.
You agree to provide accurate information, to use the service lawfully, and not to use it to harass, impersonate, or interfere with other users or with USAJobs.gov. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules.
Subscriptions and billing
The paid plan is billed in advance through Stripe Checkout, monthly at $7.99 or annually at $69, and renews automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your Stripe account. Cancellation stops future renewals; already-paid periods are not refunded pro rata.
If a payment fails, your plan reverts to free when the paid period ends. Your data is never deleted because of a lapsed payment.
We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
Your data
Your profile and saved data belong to you. What we do with it is described in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account removes your profile, bookmarks, notes and alerts.
Disclaimers
Postings are public data from USAJobs.gov and can change, close early or be withdrawn at any time. FedJobAlert does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of listings, or that any match leads to a job.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FedJobAlert is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from the use or inability to use the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes are posted here with a new date; continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.
